Callie and Flique

Hi
My name is Callie and my pony's name is Flique or "Scrapper John". He is around 27 years old and is a Morgan/QH cross. I think he was born in Orlando somewhere. When he was a 2 yr old, he was sick with strangles and Betty traded a little cash and a six pack of beer (her mom helped with the transaction) to buy him from a backyard horse owner. My first memory of Flique is riding him for my first horse lesson ever! If he were in a band, I think he would play an instrument in a jazz band. The coolest thing I have done with Flique is to canter on him, unexpectedly! If I could make life better for him, I would give him a warm, yummy fluffy, fancy stall and barn. I also wish he could be younger when I met him. I've learned how loving he can be when I spend time with him. I am impressed at how much he knows - he has taught me everything. He is so good that I have never fallen off. If he were a Disney character, he would be the cool cat who plays in the jazz band in the Aristocats. For Halloween we dressed up as Prom King and Queen.
To view other rider pony bios go to 2006 on the side bar. To submit a bio just email me and I will send you the questions to answer and I will need a photo of the pony and rider preferably standing like in Callies photo. Thanks, karen

Look Who's Back!

Ralph Hill: International eventer, USA Olympic Team member, 27 time Rolex competitor and beloved trainer to some of our Wekiva Basin Pony Clubbers has for the last 10 months been recovering from severe injuries he sustained in a fall on the advanced XC course at Poplar Place. Yesterday he was seen back at Rocking Horse in Wekiva Basin Country! He expressed his plans to return to the area as soon as possible. He will be teaching our girls again before we know it.

Show Jumping Rally!
